Growing up on a small island in Scandinavia allowed me to learn many different languages. I am fluent in English, Danish, Faroese, and have a good understanding of German. From a very young age I found a passion for technology. I grew up playing and tinkering with our Commodore 64. I bought my own PC with the first paycheck I got while working for a local fish factory. That ignited my passion for building and repairing computers.
When I eventually got recruited to attend St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI, I became passionate about art and design. I used digital photography to create modern art as an homage to the old masters. During my time at SNC, I worked as a student tech support specialist. My duties were to maintain and repair the Apple computers on campus. I also worked as a student photographer for the Admissions Office. My work was featured in many of their quarterly magazines.
My professional career started as an assistant for Image Studios in Appleton, WI. I soon worked myself up to become a video editor. My main duties for the first 2 years was to edit 1-3 video and radio spots a week for Mills Fleet Farm. These were broadcast on 40 channels in 7 states in the Midwest.
After work I taught myself 3ds Max and V-Ray. I eventually was put in charge of running the Image Studios CGI department. The talented photographers at Image Studios were instrumental in teaching me proper product and environment lighting.
